Starting with preserved working steam in Sri Lanka with B1 Class 4-6-0s on the Viceroy Special Train from Colombo to Kandy, Badulla and Trincomalee this film takes a very brief look at narrow gauge survivors Sentinal Railcar No. 331 and J1 tank No. 220. The second part covers the Darjeeling Himalaya Railway in India with the famous B Class tanks and the school train.
